Our Activities for May 2007
 

• We held our monthly Social Group meeting for Palestinian Gay Women in Tel- Aviv on May 18^th. Our meetings represent a safe and anonymous space for Palestinian gay women to be, meet, talk and share experiences.
   
• We held two Empowerment Group Meetings for Palestinian Gay Women
  The goals of the Empowerment Group are to empower Palestinian gay women by raising their awareness to their gender and sexual identity; to give them the tools to support other women and bring changes to their communities; to create a place where they can share their fears and thoughts.
   
• We opened a Support Line
  For the time being, the support line is open two days a week (Monday 12:00 - 18:00 and Tuesday 12:00 - 18:00). It has been created to give information about Aswat; to give support to women who have questions about their sexuality/gender identity, and/or need space to share their experiences, fears, and feelings and are unable to come to Aswat meetings and/or do not want to be exposed.
   
• We launched our virtual Forum in Aswat website
   
• Aswat took part in a panel on May 29^th at "Other Sex" Conference in Tel-Aviv University
